In a targeted intelligence operation coordinated by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Shin Bet security agency, militants from the IDF's Egoz Special Forces unit apprehended Ahmed Oufi, a senior wanted operative in the Tul Karm division. Oufi was implicated in shootings aimed at IDF forces and Israeli settlements, as well as suspected involvement in the murder of Tul Karm residents allegedly in cahoots with Israeli security forces.

Following an exchange of gunfire and the implementation of the "pressure cooker" protocol, the wanted operative was neutralized and the weapons found in his possession were seized.

During the operation, IDF soldiers engaged armed operatives who initiated gunfire and hurled explosives at them, resulting in the death of one perpetrator. Additionally, an IDF soldier sustained serious injuries from enemy gunfire and was evacuated for medical treatment.

In a separate nighttime raid, another senior Hamas operative was apprehended in Ramallah in line with the Shin Bet's operational objectives. Two additional wanted fugitives were arrested in Balata, near Nablus, and a number of suspects were being investigated across the Judea and Samaria Division.

The apprehended individuals were transferred for further interrogation by security forces. Since the outset of the conflict, over 3,100 wanted suspects have been arrested in the Judea and Samaria Division as well as the Jordan Valley and Judea and Samaria Divisions, with over 1,350 associated with the Hamas organization.
