Massive influx of tourists overwhelmed the iconic scenic spots during Chinese New Year holidays.

Video footage captures the bustling tourism scenes at iconic destinations across China, including the majestic Great Wall at Beijing's Badaling, the sacred Mount Wutai in Shanxi province, the historic Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden in Kaifeng city in Henan province and the vibrant nightlife at Xi'an's Tang Dynasty Furong Garden.

According to statistics from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, a staggering 474 million domestic tourists traveled across China during the Chinese New Year holiday, marking a remarkable 34.3% increase compared to the previous year, and a substantial 19.0% increase compared to 2019.

Domestic tourists collectively spent a whopping 6326.87 billion yuan on their trips, showcasing a robust 47.3% year-on-year growth and a steady 7.7% increase compared to 2019.
