According to coastal people, the jellyfish followed the tide to the shore and after the tide receded, thousands of jellyfish were trapped on the beach. Many fishermen quickly moved their vehicles out to pick up stranded jellyfish. Jellyfish are processed into dishes such as dried jellyfish, and jellyfish salad.
