Forest officials successfully capture monkey which had wreaked havoc in central India
Officers of the forest department were finally able to capture a monkey which had wreaked havoc in central India's Madhya Pradesh.
This incident happened in Burhanpur district of the state on February 17.
Visuals showed the monkey sitting on the staircases of a house before it climbed up and perched on the balcony while staring out in the open.
The animal was later caught after a lot of effort and forest department officials were seen grabbing its hands and legs after it was trapped in a net.
The monkey seemingly was tranquilised for the capture as it showed no movement whatsoever and later, was taken away.
According to a report, the animal had caused quite a stir and had been the reason for a lot of people to get injured as well as panic, in the area.
It injured about six people by biting on their necks and hands. The forest department officials didn't have it easy as they had a hard time trying to capture the animal. Eventually they succeeded in this operation and people around breathed a sigh of relief.
