A motorcycle dragged its rider around the yard when it went out of control while starting the engine.

CCTV footage shows the Honda Dio scooter being kickstarted by resident Saksiwat, who also twisted the handlebar to test it in Sakon Nakhon province, Thailand, on February 12.

However, the vehicle accelerated as he struggled to pull the brakes while standing beside it, following it around until he regained control and turned off its engine.

He said: ‘I bought it from the first owner who told me it was difficult to start. He didn't tell me the handlebars could sometimes be stuck.'

The motorcycle was not damaged, and Saksiwat was unhurt, but he had to repair the Honda Dio before using it for safety reasons.
