Meet the woman so obsessed with trainers she's spent £100,000 on 500 pairs - and has to rent a storage unit to hold her collection.

Sherlina Nyame, 33, has turned the biggest bedroom in her home into a walk-in wardrobe for her ever-increasing collection.

She's been collecting sneakers ever since she got her first pair of Reebok Classics aged seven.

But her collection really took off when she moved from a studio apartment into a house with partner, Patrick Adjaye, 34, a fashion designer.

Now, the largest room in the house is filled with 200 pairs and Sherlina has an off-site storage unit filled with trainers.

She said she has so many pairs of shoes she will often forget which ones she has and will be surprised when she opens a box to see what is inside.

Content creator Sherlina has "hundreds" of Nike Air Force trainers alone in different colours."

Her favourite pair is Nike Dunk Grateful Dead and her most rare set is Off White Jordan Ones.

Sherlina, from Fulham, London, said: "It was hard for us when I was younger."

"Growing up I was only allowed to have one pair of sneakers for the school year and that was the sneaker I had to hold on to."

"Shoes mattered - the passion was always there for me."

"When I got a bit older, I had a job and I was able to afford a pair here and there."

"Initially, my sneaker closet started out as a few shelves in my studio apartment."

"I then moved over to London and had a little room with a few shelves and then when we made the big move into the house the biggest bedroom has turned into a walking sneaker wardrobe."

She has Nike, Adidas and Reebok trainers - in several different colours and designs.

She said: "I am a huge Nike girl - I really like Nike."

"I love the Air Force One - it is so timeless. They have survived through the decades - they will never go out of fashion."

"I am a huge fan of Air Jordan Ones because of the history and I like the Nike Dunks."

"Because I go to the gym a lot, I like to wear Asics as they're so comfy."

"I have my life wear sneakers, I have my collection that I wear when I want to go for a walk and I have a collection for the gym."

As well as having several different brands in her collection, Sherlina also has the same pair of shoe in different colours.

She said: "I have multiple different colour waves."

"In Air Force, I will say I have hundreds of different colours."

"One thing that non-sneakerheads won't understand is that you can have multiple pairs of the same colour."

"It is not always about wearing them all the time so you also want to store one."

"I look at my sneakers like art, I have an art gallery. Sometimes when I like a sneaker so much I will wear them every day so I will have a second pair."

"That's why I say one to rock and one to stock."

Sherlina says her fiance Patrick, isn't fazed by her collection as he has around 300 pairs of shoes himself.

She said:

"He is a sneakerhead himself. His collection is not as big as mine but he has some very expensive sneakers."

"For example, Jordan Off Whites - they can be worth thousands."

"We are helping each other with the sneaker addiction."

Sherlina shares her epic collection on her social media - @sherlinanym - where she boasts being the biggest female sneaker blogger in the world.

She said: "I always dress down from the shoe up, when I go out I decide what shoes to wear first."

"Depending on the colour, the pattern, the design, I will decide what to wear."

"I never think about an outfit first, for me it really is the art of it."
