The 646th Reserve Brigade of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has completed a successful mission in the Gaza Strip, where its combat soldiers eliminated numerous operatives, located weapons, and destroyed a strategic underground tunnel route used by the Hamas organization.

During the ground operation, the brigade combat team targeted Hamas sites in the central camps, including Bureij, Nuseirat, and the "Towers" neighborhood of Hamas operatives, before moving on to the southern Gaza Strip in the area of Khan Yunis. In the "Abasan" area, the brigade eliminated a significant number of operatives, seized large quantities of weapons, and apprehended multiple militants who had been hiding among the civilian population.

Colonel Elad Shushan, Commanding Officer of the 646th Brigade, commended his soldiers for their courage and determination in carrying out the mission. He stated, "We reached every hideout above and below ground in the Gaza Strip, sending a clear message to operatives that there is no safe haven for them. Our duty now is to support the families of the fallen and the wounded, and to remain prepared for any future challenges. The mission is not over, but I have full confidence in the readiness and commitment of our brigade."

The 646th Reserve Brigade's actions in Gaza have underscored the IDF's ongoing efforts to address security threats in the region and maintain the safety of Israeli citizens.
