The Atlanta Police Department made a significant arrest on February 17, 2024, after apprehending a suspect who had fled from officers during a traffic stop on I-20 in January.

The suspect, identified as 39-year-old Dorian Burley, was charged with multiple offenses including Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, Felony Fleeing and Eluding, and Possession of Marijuana.

The suspect had initially fled from officers after being stopped for a window tint violation and was later found to be in possession of a stolen vehicle.

After eluding arrest for nearly a month, Atlanta Police received a tip that the suspect would be arriving on a flight from Miami, FL. The officers who had originally stopped the suspect boarded the plane and successfully detained him.

Mr. Burley will now face charges for his alleged crimes, although it is important to remember that he is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
