In the latest incident involving armed teenagers, Seattle police released a video capturing an intense confrontation that took place in the city's Beacon Hill neighborhood on Dec. 8, 2023.

The video, recorded from a police officer's dash camera, shows a stolen car crashing in front of an on-duty officer. Inside the vehicle were three juvenile males, who sustained minor injuries and were treated by the Seattle Fire Department at the scene.

During the investigation, police recovered a pistol with a 30-round extended magazine from the stolen vehicle. It was later revealed that the car had been driving on a damaged tire from a spike strip deployment by another police agency.

One suspect was identified and released to a family member, while two others were arrested and taken to Seattle Children’s Hospital for medical evaluations. Upon being cleared, the two suspects were taken to the Judge Patricia H. Clark Children and Family Justice Center and booked for investigation of auto theft and unlawful firearm possession.
