China: Resident Accidentally Causes Mountain Fire, Blaze Spreads On Roadside Hill In Guizhou
A motorist plying the Loop Highway in Guiyang captured a video of a fire spreading on a hill along the road on February 18.
According to media reports, the fire was accidentally started by a resident in Bijie, a city next to Guiyang City, after he burned weeds in his cultivated field. The fire had spread due to strong winds in the area.
Local authorities reported on the 19th that the blaze was contained.
