A cheeky snake leapt onto a woman who was relaxing in a hammock under a tree.

CCTV footage shows the serpent crawling undetected on the branch before it launched itself towards Labelle Pornacha's hips as she was busy scrolling on her phone in Chonburi province, Thailand, on January 22.

Labelle quickly jumped off the swing and the reptile was thrown off to the ground.

She said: ‘I was so shocked that I almost had a heart attack. I want to remind everyone that when you have a house with a garden, please be careful because it could attract snakes. I was lucky I wasn't bitten.'
