The City of Roma Police Department and Fire Department worked together to conduct a daring water rescue operation on February 22, successfully recovering a vehicle from the Rio Grande River. The incident occurred following a vehicle pursuit that ended with the car in the river.
Brave police officers, trained in swift water rescue techniques, joined forces with firefighters to retrieve the stranded vehicle. The City of Roma Police Department released a statement saying, "We remain committed to the city of Roma in providing officers who are certified in a multitude of specialized skills."
