A manoeuvre labelled "impatient" by a motorist almost led to a vehicle colliding with a pedestrian on a narrow road in Lisbellaw, Northern Ireland.

Dashcam footage shows an oncoming car moving into the middle of a road to swiftly overtake a pedestrian. The manoeuvre almost sees the two cars collide head-on.

The motorist told Newsflare: "Travelling along a back road in low light conditions, I slow as a car approaches. The oncoming car swerves into my path to avoid a pedestrian who is walking on the road on their side. I had to emergency stop, coming to a complete stop to avoid a collision."
