A long line of cars stopped as a gaggle of more than 800 geese waddled across the road.

Smartphone footage showed the hundreds of feathered creatures bringing the traffic to a halt as they crossed the road in the city of Yangjiang, in Guangdong, southern China, on February 19.

Further in the clip, the goose breeder can be seen walking behind the flock, guiding the geese with gestures and calls as they make their way across the road.

Chinese media reported that the flock includes more than 800 geese that undertake a daily journey across the road to reach the lush pastures.

Upon encountering these geese along their route, drivers consistently demonstrate courtesy by halting their vehicles and patiently awaiting the completion of their crossing.
