Argentine midfielder Enzo Fernandez had to be restrained by his teammate after Liverpool fans taunted him over Chelsea's 1-0 Carabao Cup final defeat on February 25.

Footage shows the Chelsea players making the walk up the stands to collect their runners-up medals when a couple of Liverpool fans began laughing.

One is heard saying, "Enzo unlucky lad," before bursting into laughter. The £107 million midfielder seemed less than impressed as he turned to stare down the Liverpool supporters.

He was then whisked away by his teammate. The clip has gone viral on X with more than 4 million people watching it.

The filmer told Newsflare: "Football banter that clearly he didn’t appreciate but when you are a player of a big club and the team you support has just won the final you're going to get stick from it from opposing fans its football."

Liverpool won the final with an extra-time goal from central defender Virgil van Dijk.
