Meteor enthusiasts were treated to a rare sight on February 24 as a sporadic bolido, labeled SPMN240224E, streaked across the skies over Barcelona and Lleida at 18h31m43s TUC (19h31 CET). The event was captured by Cesar Guasch from MeteoSantMateu in Sant Mateu, Castellon, who witnessed the bolido crossing the UsaMajor.

Meanwhile, David Molner from meteoceloni in Sant Celoni, Barcelona, also spotted the impressive bolido. Despite the dispersing clouds from a hailstorm earlier in the afternoon in various municipalities in Baix Montseny, the bolido's luminosity could still be seen shining through.
