Steam rises from parrot drying off under light
Steam rose from the head and back of a pet parrot that was drying under a lamp.
Footage shows the bird perched inside its cage under the light in its home in Guangdong, China on January 29 evening.
Its owner, Guo, said he had just bathed the bird when he noticed the vapour rising from its body.
Parrots like to clean themselves and use water to clean their feathers even in the cold winter months, but they are afraid of the cold, so they need to be dried with a fluorescent light.
