Heartwarming footage of a dad surprising his daughter with her first car as she steps off the school bus.

The video, filmed in Muncie, Indiana, USA last week, shows the dad talking viewers through the car's history before handing over the keys to his daughter Kassie when she gets off the school bus.

The filmer later wrote online: "The car was purchased by my girlfriend in 1992.

"We gave it to the mother-in-law who kept the car in the garage for years."

"Kassie would always ask about that car wishing she could have it," he continued.

"We always told her that grandma does NOT want to give the car up, but little did she know we were in the process of getting it ready for her.

"Then, we finally surprised her last week as she was getting off the bus.

"Her reaction was emotional and pure; Wife and mother-in-law both were crying as well."
