STORYLINE:
Jilin Northeast Tigers held its first open training session on Monday.
Team coach Gao Junchao said it is gearing up for the following games of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) facing the increasingly fierce competition for playoff seats.

"Through short adjustments, players' injuries have been alleviated, and the situation is getting better. After returning from injuries, they first need to improve their competitiveness. Then they can further catch up with the team and hopefully have some chemistry with each other."
The third stage of the CBA regular season will start in early March.
After the first 39 rounds, the Jilin Northeast Tigers ranks 17th with 15 wins and 24 losses, three wins away from the playoff seat (12th place).
