A boy fearlessly jumped into a penguin pool while feeding at a polar ocean park in southern China.

The video was filmed in Chengdu City in Sichuan Province on February 20.

A young boy leaped into a penguin enclosure without hesitation while a staff member attempted to take his photo. Quick to react, park staff swiftly rescued the adventurous youngster from the chilly waters.

The boy's mother, who had brought him from Guangzhou City for a vacation in Chengdu City, explained that they were participating in a paid penguin feeding experience at the Polar Ocean Park.

Initially, everything seemed to be going smoothly until the unexpected plunge. Perhaps the boy was eager for a closer encounter with the penguins.

Fortunately, the quick reflexes of the park staff prevented any harm from coming to the child.

Following the incident, park staff presented the boy with a penguin feather as a memento and reminded him to prioritize safety in the future.
