The Confucius Institute of Sarajevo University in Bosnia and Herzegovina started the new semester with a Chinese ink painting session.

It hopes that students can learn more about Chinese culture through the session.

"The theme of this class is panda. Choosing panda is because this is the first class of the semester, we hope to let them paint something simple and easy."

"Painting can transcend language and ethnicity. It can please your eyes and your heart. Through it, we hope students can feel the beauty of China and Chinese culture. Painting class is a starting point for many students through which they have developed an interest in Chinese culture and the Chinese language."
