This astonishing video shows a man walking in the front yard of a building getting struck by several massive blocks of snow that fell from a solar panel on the roof.

Surveillance camera footage depicted the man, identified only as Mr Shi, walking outside of the building in the city of Zhumadian in Henan, China, at around 12:16 pm on February 24.

But just moments later he can be seen dropping to the ground after multiple huge chunks of snow tumbled from the roof and fell straight onto him, leaving him with no time to flee.

Shortly after, several people can be seen rushing to his aid, in order to bring him back to his feet. All of them later returned inside the building.

When asked by local media, Mr Shi said: 'The snow from the solar panel fell down. Luckily, I wasn't injured.'
