People have flocked from all over to marvel at the lake that has formed in Badwater Basin in Death Valley. Atmospheric rivers and a hurricane have dumped millions of gallons into the salty, once-in-a-century lake. Families, solitary travelers, and couples wade and paddleboard at sundown in the lake as the brilliant sunset is reflected in the waters below.
