Boulders destroy near buildings after mining explosion on mountain
Massive boulders destroyed several buildings including an ancestral hall after miners triggered an explosion on a mountain.
Footage shows boulders and debris from the mountain rolling down in large clouds of dust following a mining blast in Longmen County, in Guandong, China, on February 25.
A massive cloud of smoke could be seen billowing from the mountain's peak as numerous boulders tumbled down to the base.
Resident Mr. Deng told the local media that they had raised more than CNY one million (GBP109,905) a few years ago to build the ancestral shrine.
He added that nobody was injured from the explosion.
The Longmen County Government confirmed there were no casualties and said that they would launch a probe into the incident.
