"The mum wasn’t paying attention to her child, which resulted in the kid not getting on the lift in time and was then left dangling by her backpack till she fell," the filmer, Thomas, told WooGlobe.
Both the mother and child were lucky that the lift wasn't at a significant height when the latter finally fell, resulting in minimal, if any, injuries.
It's safe to assume that someone will be extra careful when taking their next chairlift ride.
