Police forensics were at the scene of a shooting in South London where two people were hit by shotgun shrapnel at the Belle Vue pub, and a third person was run over by the suspects riding a moped (March 1).

The shocking incident occured around 5pm Clapham Common where the two suspects travelling on the moped fled after a police chase, leaving the shotgun at the scene, which discharged as it was dropped.

Specialist officers were seen gathering evidence and searching inside the pub where a large hole was seen in the window. The long cardboard box in the doorway is believed to contain the firearm.

Shortly afterwards, the officers checked over the moped flashing a torch over it, searching for additional clues.
