In recent years, leaps in the quality of Chinese animation films have brought commercial success in the domestic market. Many of them are also screened overseas and gaining acceptance from audiences abroad.
In 2023, the English-dubbed version of "Boonie Bears: Guardian Code" hit the theaters in the United Kingdom and Ireland and won applause.
