STORYLINE:
The Airshows Downunder Shellharbour 2024 is being held at Shellharbour Airport, 100 km south of Sydney.
The event, formerly known as "Wings Over Illawarra," has been renamed "Airshows Downunder Shellharbour."
Most of the aircraft on display at the airshow are vintage "master aircraft" from decades ago.
From a replica of the first international flight from Australia to New Zealand 96 years ago, to a restored World War II fighter jet, and various warplanes from the 1960s and 1970s, this airshow attracts many military aerospace fans and makes it more like an aviation museum.
The brand new airshow takes place from March 1 to 3, and will be held every other year.
