Motorists honked and shouted to warn visitors exiting their car as a wolf approached at a wildlife park in northern China.

The terrifying video was filmed in Qinhuangdao City in Hebei Province on March 3.

A woman can be seen holding her child outside their car to relieve themselves, while a wolf was slowly approaching from the left side of the road.

According to the motorist from a car behind them, there were several wolves sneaking up from the right side as well.

The quick-thinking motorist honked furiously to alert the woman and scare off the approaching wolves. Thankfully, his actions prevented a potentially disastrous outcome.

Following the incident, the Qinhuangdao Wildlife Park issued a statement reminding visitors to adhere to park rules, which strictly prohibit opening car windows or exiting vehicles in predator enclosures.

后车的行车记录仪视频显示，一台白色SUV停在狼园区内道路右侧，车门外，一女子正抱着孩子让其“方便”。而道路左侧的一只狼，正向女子所在方向前进。据后车男驾驶员描述，当时在车右侧其实也有几只狼正偷偷靠近，两边都有狼奔母女而去。他便在车里拼命按喇叭提醒。
事件发生后，秦皇岛野生动物园回应称，景区已关注到此事件，并提醒广大游客遵守园区相关规定，严禁在猛兽区开车窗、严禁在猛兽区下车。
根据秦皇岛野生动物园官网显示，园区占地面积3500余亩，园区放养着120余种4000余头（只）来自世界各地的珍禽名兽以及我们国家一、二级保护动物。野生动物园分为笼养区、猛兽区，非洲风情园，中心广场萌宠乐园、草食动物区和步行游览区六个动物展区，可自驾或乘坐园区内观光车参观游览。
