Little girl distraught after tooth fairy leaves her a cheque instead of 'real money'

This little girl named Braylie, 5, was distraught after finding out the tooth fairy had left her a cheque instead of coins.

The girl's mum Kendall Dean filmed as she found her daughter under the duvet with tears streaming down her face.

"The tooth fairy didn't leave me real money so I ripped it!" Braylie is heard telling her mum.

The mother then explains that by taking the cheque to a bank she will be able to get "real money".

Kendall told Newsflare: "My daughter lost her tooth very late at night and I didn’t have cash. As a single mum, I was unable to just run up to the bank to get cash so I had to improvise. I found a cute tooth fairy check online.

"I filled it out for $5 and left it under her pillow with her tooth fairy pillow. The next morning, I heard her in her room and she was very upset. I thought I heard her call the tooth fairy the “b-word” (not ok in our house).

"So I went upstairs to see why she was so upset. This is where I began to film her hysterics to share with her family. She explained that the tooth fairy didn’t leave her real money so she ripped it. She told me it wasn’t even green!

"I had her calm down just a bit to explain what a check is and how you can take it to the bank and get money in return. This made her even more upset because she ripped it up. I calmed her down again by letting her know we could tape it and take it to the bank.

"She began to calm down. I then needed her to understand that we can’t call the tooth fairy the “b-word”, she then told me she didn’t and that she didn’t even know what the b-word is.

"She explained that she called the tooth fairy a myth but because she was missing so many teeth, it came out “miff”. All was well and we restarted our day."
