This is the shocking moment a motorcyclist escapes death after a moving lorry struck him and dragged his bike along the road.

The incident was captured on CCTV footage on a busy street in the city of Luzhou in Sichuan, China, on February 29.

In the video, the large red lorry was seen making a right turn onto the street, apparently not noticing the biker just inches in front.

In an instant, the lorry knocked him down and continued moving downhill, dragging along the trapped motorbike and its rider for nearly 30 feet.

By some miracle, the rider was able to break free and crawl out from underneath the lorry onto the pavement and to safety.

It was not until passing pedestrians signalled to the lorry driver that they noticed anything had happened and finally, came to a halt.

The biker was reported to have suffered only minor injuries.

Witnesses told local media: 'The driver didn't see it as it was in the blind spot of the lorry.'
