In a swift and targeted ground mission, IDF (Israel Defense Forces) troops have successfully eliminated Hamas threats in western Khan Yunis. Following recent rocket attacks by Islamic Jihad towards Kibbutz Be’eri and Kibbutz Hatzerim, IDF troops quickly identified and neutralized the cell responsible in under 30 minutes.

In the past day, IDF troops have carried out operations resulting in the elimination of 15 operatives using sniper, tank, and aerial firepower. Notably, during a confrontation, IDF troops identified a cell entering a Hamas military site and swiftly took decisive action, striking and eliminating the threat with an aircraft.

The ongoing ground mission in western Khan Yunis has seen IDF troops encircle the “Hamad” area and conduct targeted raids to root out terrorist elements operating from within civilian areas. Additionally, IDF troops have led evacuations of civilian populations and apprehended approximately 80 wanted individuals suspected of involvement in terrorist activities, including Hamas and Islamic Jihad operatives attempting to evade capture.
