IDF Demolishes Home of Hamas Member, Arrests Dozens in West Bank Raids

IDF, Shin Bet, and Border Police forces operated overnight in the city of Nablus in the West Bank to demolish the home of Abed Masri, who took part in the shooting attack on April 7, 2023 at the Hamra Junction where members of the Di family were killed.

During the night, 13 wanted individuals were arrested throughout Judea and Samaria, as well as in the Jordan Valley and the Beka and Valleys Division.

In an operation lasting about 6 hours in the village of Al-Amri in the Binyamin Division, soldiers, under the guidance of the Shin Bet, arrested two wanted individuals. Additionally, forces investigated numerous suspects and confiscated incitement materials belonging to the Hamas organization.

As part of the operation, violent disturbances broke out where suspects threw stones and Molotov cocktails at the soldiers who responded with gunfire, resulting in an injury. A Border Police officer was injured in the leg and was evacuated for medical treatment at a hospital, while her family was notified.

In an engineering activity in the Ma'as Area of the Menashe Division, forces uncovered explosives hidden under rocks with the aim of targeting our forces.

In Hebron in Judea, two wanted individuals were arrested and numerous suspects were interrogated. In Dir Amar in Efraim, four wanted individuals were arrested, and in Tubas in the Beka and Valleys Division, two more wanted individuals were apprehended.

The arrested individuals and the confiscated incitement materials were transferred for further investigation by security forces.

So far, around 3,400 wanted individuals have been arrested since the beginning of the conflict in various areas in Judea and Samaria and the Beka and Valleys Division, with around 1,500 of them affiliated with the Hamas organization.
