An eagle crashed into a moving car on a busy road, but it picked itself back up again and flew away.

Xiao Riyi was driving when he saw a Crested Serpent Eagle gliding and accidentally hit the car in front of him in New Taipei City, Taiwan, on February 20.

Dashcam footage shows the bird leaping from the road barrier and colliding onto the grey vehicle, causing it to fly away to the ground.

It immediately flew towards the side of the road to avoid getting hit by the cars.

Crested Serpent Eagles live in forests, wooded areas near rivers, and sometimes open country.
