Pomona police officers and Los Angeles County firefighters responded to a traffic collision at the intersection of South White Avenue and West Phillips Boulevard. Firefighters and paramedics arriving on scene pronounced two people deceased. A total of three patients were transported to a local hospital in unknown conditions. The DUI driver was arrested and also transported to a local hospital. One neighbor that lives close by, said he had heard the crash from inside of his house, ran out and saw two crashed vehicles. Pomona PD had all four intersections closed off as they investigated the fatal crash. It was later reported that a third victim had passed away at the hospital.
