A shooting related to a family disturbance late Monday night left two adults wounded and transported to a local hospital, according to authorities.
Hawthorne Police Department officers and the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to reports of two gunshot victims around 10:30 p.m. at a residence in the 12000 block of Doty Avenue in the city of Hawthorne.
The LACoFD transported two adult victims to a local hospital. Both victims are in stable condition, according to Sgt. Erica Bristow with the Hawthorne PD's Detective Bureau.
The family disturbance at the location involved adults. The case is still an ongoing investigation with minimal preliminary information at this time, but the shooter is in custody, Bristow said in a statement to the media.
