In a video filmed in Shanghai, China, two men loitering in front of a shop in the midnight. After determining there were no witnesses, they attempted to break into the store. Retrieving bricks concealed in their clothing, they attempted to smash the shop's glass door. One man hurled his brick at the glass, but it failed to shatter. Undeterred, his accomplice followed suit, but misjudged his aim, striking his partner who was attempting to dodge the projectile.

The injured man collapsed immediately, prompting his companion to rush to his aid. Ultimately, they had no choice but to drag the injured man away and seek medical attention at a nearby hospital.

The victim of the friendly fire likely never anticipated that their attempted theft would end with their own injury, rather than a successful heist.

Both have been arrested later and the police have not disclosed further details about the incident.
