A 12-year-old boy showed excellent presence of mind as he trapped a leopard in a room after it had strayed into an office in Malegon, Maharashtra.

CCTV footage captured on March 5 shows the boy playing on his phone when the wild leopard wandered into the room at the Sai Celebration Wedding Hall.

After noticing the leopard, the 12-year-old named Mohit Ahire calmly exited the room and closed the door behind him, trapping the leopard.

Forest officials later arrived at the scene and tranquillised the 5-year-old leopard before releasing it back into the wild.
