An armed robbery occurred at the 7-Eleven located at the intersection of Burlington and Olympic. Suspects were described as a Hispanic male and female with the male being armed with a dark colored handgun. Suspects fled in a dark blue Kia sedan. Witnesses told officers at scene that the suspects also had an approximately 12-year-old child with them while committing the armed robbery. An unknown amount of US currency was taken.

There are a total of four suspects, according to the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Division, three of the suspects are teens. The fourth suspect is a juvenile around 12 years old, as witnesses at the scene had stated.

Update per LAPD: The same suspects are wanted in connection with a second armed robbery which occurred at 4321 N Figueroa St in LAPDs Northeast division.
