On February 7, 2024, in the cold winter of Xinyang, Henan, two children accidentally fell into a frozen pond in a neighborhood, facing a life-threatening situation.

Without hesitation, a security guard rushed into the icy water after hearing the cries for help and stepped through the ice to pull the two children to shore.

During the rescue, the young girl displayed extraordinary bravery and selflessness, insisting, "Save the little boy, he's younger." Ultimately, thanks to the efforts of the security guard, both children were safely rescued.

In an interview, the 39-year-old security guard, Mr. Wang, heartwarmingly expressed that this is his duty to do so.
