Pilot lands an hour before schedule to rescue fainted passenger
The astonishing videos show a fainted passenger being rescued after a brave pilot arrived at the destination an hour before schedule in China.
In the first clip, the cabin crew of the Shandong Airlines flight SC4878 heading from Zhengzhou in Henan to Qingdao, in Shandong, can be seen assisting the traveller on March 3.
The second recording shows emergency crews taking him out of the plane and putting him inside an ambulance vehicle for further treatment.
The passenger, whose name was not disclosed, had fainted shortly after the fight took off at Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport at 6:26pm.
Cabin crews reportedly found him unconscious in his seat at 7:10pm, and informed the pilot.
Having acknowledged theseriousness of the situation, the pilot then picked up the pace and arrived at QingdaoLiuting International Airport an hour before it was scheduled, at 7:30pm.
One passenger, identified as Mr Hu, told local media: 'I felt that the plane was getting faster. The flight speed shown on the display screen was increasing.
'It actually arrived at 7:30pm. After landing, the airport ground staff cooperated very quickly. The crew broadcast to remind everyone to make way for the unconscious passenger.
'Thumbs upto the crew for their due diligence!'
Shandong Airlines authorities disclosed that the passenger's condition remained stable. He reportedly left on his own shortly after being examined by emergency crews.
