A 12-year-old boy displayed extraordinary bravery when a leopard wandered into an office where he was playing on his mobile phone.The incident occurred on Tuesday morning at the Sai Celebration wedding hall along the Malegaon-Nampur Road.
The boy is the son of a security guard at the venue, quietly exited the room and swiftly locked the leopard inside, effectively preventing any potential attack. After securing the room, the 12-year-old promptly informed his father about the unexpected visitor.
The presence of the leopard had earlier been noted in a nearby residential area, leading to a search operation by locals, police, and forest officials.
Following the boy's alert, a forest officer from the Malegaon range coordinated with the Nashik City team to safely tranquilize and rescue the five-year-old male leopard.
