Stunned motorists witnessed an incredible moment as a group of wild boars lined up in an orderly fashion before crossing the street in front of them.

Onlookers too photos as the boars crossed over from one wooded area to another at a traffic light in Nanjing, China.

Taxi drivers stopped on the road to make way for the wild animals that almost seemed to understand traffic rules. Within seconds, they disappeared among tall trees without causing any incident.

One passerby managed to capture the rare scene on video on March 5.

He said: 'The wild boars in Nanjing are so organized, they even queue up to cross the road.'

Wild boars (Sus scrofa) are robust and intelligent mammals belonging to the pig family.

They are recognized for their distinctive appearance with a stocky build, coarse fur, and prominent tusks.

These omnivores inhabit various ecosystems, including forests, grasslands, and scrublands.
