Lancaster Deputies responded to an assault with a knife call at Jane Reynolds Skate Park located at the intersection of Avenue J and Fig Avenue in the city of Lancaster. According to radio traffic, calls were coming in stating a male was stabbed in the neck and was unresponsive. Lancaster Deputies discovered a male laying on the park grass and began to administer CPR. The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. There were no suspects detained at the time of this report. Lancaster Deputies secured the park to being their investigation.

The male victim, around 22 years old, is in critical but stable condition according to the last update the sheriff's station received. The circumstances surrounding the stabbing are currently unknown.

The investigation is ongoing.
