In a surprising turn of events, a juvenile, yellow-billed loon was found in the fountain at the luxurious Bellagio Hotel. This species of bird is typically found near coastal regions, making its appearance in a Las Vegas fountain quite rare.

On the 6th of March morning, a team of biologists successfully captured the loon and relocated it to a more suitable and remote location. The bird was reported to be in good health with no visible injuries and is now able to enjoy wide open spaces, plentiful food, and tranquility.

The biologist in charge of the operation expressed gratitude towards the employees of the Bellagio for their cooperation and assistance in ensuring the loon's safe capture and relocation.
