Two schoolgirls injured in pedestrian collision in Russia
Two schoolgirls were injured in a pedestrian collision that occured on February 22, 2024 in the Batyrevsky district of Chuvashia, Russia. The girls, students at Shygyrdan Secondary School No. 1, were crossing an unregulated crosswalk when they were struck by a Toyota driven by a sober individual. One girl sustained a bruised knee joint, while the other suffered a superficial head injury. Both received medical attention and the circumstances of the accident are being investigated.
