A body was discovered along a Santa Clarita bike trail Friday morning.
Shortly before 9:18 a.m., a 911 caller reported finding someone unconscious and unresponsive in an area between a city bike trail and a bar parking lot east of Bouquet Canyon Road.
Firefighters, paramedics and EMTs responded to the scene with sheriff’s deputies.
The person was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies are investigating the circumstances surrounding the person’s death.
