CHP officers from the Rancho Cucamonga Office and Ontario Fire Department personnel responded to a traffic collision with one person trapped on the southbound 15 Freeway at Jurupa Street in the city of Ontario. Once CHP officers and firefighters arrived on scene, they located a white vehicle that flew off the freeway and into a palm tree temporarily trapping the passenger. Both the driver and passenger were transported to a local hospital in unknown conditions. It is not known at this time if speed or alcohol was a factor. CHP only located the single vehicle that crashed into the tree. No other vehicles appeared to have been involved in the crash.
