Attempt Carjacking 2 Victims Shot in Los Angeles, USA

Two people were shot during a carjacking attempt in the Lake Balboa neighborhood of Los Angeles around 8:40 p.m. Thursday.
Two suspects, one armed with a 9mm semi-automatic handgun, shot two victims in a carjacking attempt in the 7800 block of Amestoy Avenue, according to Officer Cuellar with the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Division.
The shooting occurred outside Stagg Street Elementary School where suspects fled from in an unknown direction.
The wounded driver with passenger drove to an apartment complex in the 7700 block of Reseda Boulevard in Reseda where they advised police of the shooting. LAPD officers went to the school location to search the area for evidence.
Both victims were transported by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics to a local hospital from where they were located in Reseda. Their conditions are unknown. However, according to sources, they are expected to survive.
