UK skywatcher captures stunning timelapse of Milky Way
A skywatcher based in Llandeilo, Wales, captured a stunning timelapse of the Milky Way.
Footage from 2022 shows the Cygnus constellation over a 6-hour period.
"Using a 50mm lens I was able to look deeper into the winter part of the Milky Way known as the Cygnus region. Photographed from my garden in Wales using a mirrorless camera, 50mm lens and a star tracker to counteract the rotation of the Earth and keep the Cygnus area in frame.
This densely star-packed area is home to lots of hydrogen emission nebula as seen here in the glowing red parts of the video," said the filmer.
